talked to commish about this and he thought we maybe should move to 6 so asked me to put it to vote. Im thinking due to the fact that this league will have all 32 teams taken and there shouldnt be many extra starting offensive players left, that we should use just 6 offensive players just like the NFL does (5 Dline and 6 Pt Scoring players) so teams arent trying to start FB and such in a spot where the actual NFL doesnt even have a guy!

The guys that might have a problem with this is teams that run a 2 RB system... Im ok with going down to 6 cause I dont see the depth happening this year, but next year when we can draft some of our own players... yes.. would like the extra spot...

For whatever reason when creating the league I was thinking back to the old 7 on 7 drills we used to do in practice, so did 7 spots.
But there are 5 OL, leaving us at 6.. so when Nate brought this up I was inclined to agree. Figured it would be a good discussion at least. Depth with 32 teams will always be interesting.

Well they will still be able to play the second Rb in the flex position! Nate

I'd be more inclined to do away with the flex spot if anything and not the 2nd RB spot
Most NFL teams have gone to the double threat at RB - seems to be the way the league has shifted. More teams than not have that I think

but a lot of teams also run a 3WR set or two TE sets too... especially teams that have boss hogs for RBs.. ...

Guess I know they can do many things but never can they run 7. Having no flex forces ppl to play one crap guy on teams with one main back where they could play a te or 3rd Wr Guving more options IMO that is

My main concern would be putting some running heavy teams at more of a disadvantage. A team should be able to utilize 3 RB as much as they should be able to utilize 3 WR. At least if there's 7 players, it puts everyone at an equal spot even if it leaves for a weak 7th spot for all teams.

Having only 1 RB spot would be extremely unfair to teams like mine that feature 2 running backs that basically split time... way too much of an unfair advantage to teams with 1 feature back.

Puts top talent teams at a big advantage IMO like welker/bush type teams most teams don't have enough startable talent to fill more spots then there is in real football I meN rake the browns I don't have one startable Wr right now and would have to start 3
