That contract is the perfect example of why we need to change the buy out process.
Within the rules 100% but without giving him a big fat signing bonus it's a loop hole.

The Co-Commish realized that we did not have a max amount of years for free agency, and we need to address this before an issue arises. The max amount of years you can offer is 5 years. There is no max dollar amount. We apologize for overlooking that in the original rules.
