There have been a few invalid bids made lately
1. For bids that only become invalid when it puts a person over the cap, the 24 hour period re-starts after I go to process the bid and declare it invalid.
2. For bids that are placed invalid, i.e. you bid a lower amount than the previous bid, you bid an incorrect yearly amount [1 year $19M is invalid], etc, the 24 hour period continues from the point of that invalid bid. While it is of course encouraged that you do NOT place invalid bids, it will happen from time to time and it is not the place of the next owner to analyze the prior bidder's bid for accuracy when placing the next bid.
3. A 24 hour period means time 24 hours from time of point A (DAY HH:MM) to time of point B (DAY+! HH:MM). In other words, if a bid was at noon 12:00 today, all bids would have to be in by 11:59 tomorrow because at 12:00, 24 hours has passed.
