-Upon winning a player, you can make the deal back-end heavy so that the later years are more than the early years. Each year must at least stay the same or go up. The contract can also not increase by more than 100% in a given season. For example, if the player is to make $5M in 2011/2012 based on the contract you are signing him to, his contract cannot be MORE than $10M in 2012/2013.
I believe, based on this rule, that this is an invalid bid. The 8M being offered this year is being increased by over 300%
If I'm wrong I think I need this rule explained to me better

my mistake.. I thought the rule was the contract number had to be at least 50% of the AAS. I will fix it. No biggie. Thanks for being my secretary. Rather fix now than later. New contract will be : 11:$11.775M, 12:$23.325M a 100% increase of 11.775 would be 23.55M. So I should be good now. Thanks. Made a release on my roster to accommodate the increase in salary.
