Even though ESPN doesn't allow for a 32 team league, I could just make identical AFC and NFC leagues - it is much more customizable than CBS if the CBS baseball settings are anything similar to the football
The problem with paying $150 to CBS is that you can't see the setup before you do it. Right now we were doing $600 to the winner, $150 to the reg season winner, and $150 to pay for CBS / 32 team league. If we do ESPN for free, we could give the Super Bowl runner up some money or perhaps spread it around to the weekly high week, conf winners, get creative.
Thoughts?

yea spread it around i like that idea like maybe money for the highest points in a week every other week.. or just at the end the team with the highest total in a week gets some money

Ok if we do identical AFC NFC leagues then for the super bowl we do what? Keep track of scoring ourselves? or how would that work?

this is something we will need to figure out within the next week or so
especially post if you DO want to do this on CBS so that we can put all 32 teams in the same site
if i have my choice at the end, i will do the 2 identical leagues on ESPN (already have one half built as the test and it would work fine) and spread out the extra $150 in prize money to different winners

i have never done football on CBS, but I do like being able to do the 30 teams on one board. I rather do one board and not worry about if Im winning the super bowl cause theres no stats online. I would be bashing my head doing the numbers. Isnt there another service to do this on.. i think its called fantraxx... if anyone knows what Im talking about.. I havent played on it but heard of it.

I also think having 2 different scoring sites would be too drastic, and I believe it would be best to stick with CBS. While it may not be the best, it's still pretty solid, and is a lot easier to work with than 2 different scoring sites.

As far as I know there is no free fantasy site that allows 30 teams. If there was a way for me to make it so that all owners could easily access both the NFC and the AFC sites, how would people feel about that? Also, for the Superbowl I know I could set it up manually from the commish's standpoint so that we show the Superbowl current score on both the AFC and NFC sites. It would just take some manual fixes when we get to the playoffs. I guess I'd just rather see more people in the league get some prize money - keeps it a little more interesting. But again just throwing it out there. Keep the opinions coming!

Won't 2 sites cause problems regarding trading etc.?

PS. I have played on Fantrax for a couple of years...their Premium package costs $59.95. Here are some of the features from their Website.
Premium Allow Duplicate Players: This feature allows any player to exist on multiple fantasy teams. This is often used for but not restricted to Salary Cap leagues. You can allow duplicate players across the entire league, or only within each division.
Draft Pick Trading: Draft picks for future seasons can be traded just like players. Picks can be traded for players, as well as for other picks. For example, you can trade your 2nd round pick in 2013 for another team's 1st round pick in 2014. The system will automatically track these picks from year to year.
Priority Customer Support: Commissioners' e-mails to Fantrax Support will be given priority over users without priority customer support. This premium feature is automatically enabled when your league uses at least 1 other premium feature.
Prize Management System: A set of options that allows the Commissioner to award several types of prizes for any length of time throughout the course of the season. For example, a prize of $20 can be awarded to the team with the most points every week, and $10 to the team with the 2nd most points. And/or a prize of $50 can be awarded to the team who wins the most weeks throughout the course of the season. That just scratches the surface of what this feature can do!
Minor League Eligibility Options: Allows you to determine when players are eligible for Minors status, based on various criteria such as age and career games played.
[glow=red,2,300]Up to 100 Teams in the league: Your league may have up to 100 fantasy teams, instead of 24.[/glow]
