Most leagues that I have been in are 2..but those are usually on 20man rosters.. so 3 would be fine with me.. as long as people are still keeping their contracts.. np..the Gmen could use the extra IR spot..

2 should be ok but 3 is a safetynet to have even if it doesnt get used it would help keep a team intact for the following season cause if you end up having 3 on IR chances are your team probably isnt doing well IMO....you know the old saying worst to first just by getting injured players back unless they are at end of their contract then chances are they would get released anyways instead of IR...and it should be stipulated that once on IR they must stay there the remainder of season.

I tend to agree with Victor and voted Other as well....If we are trying to be NFL teams we should pay them but open up a roster spot so we can find a replacement....I think 3 spots is plenty but would be okay with only2

You guys are right. I just did some hunting and found that players' salaries do count towards the cap even if on IR
I really thought they didn't count - basically I was basing that off playing in Madden franchises, which I thought was the case. ;D ;D
So okay yeah, they'll still count towards a team's cap.
